About Us

Originally from Eastern Washington State, Paula Drake served the Grant County and Royal Slope communities in fire and EMS for over a decade. She and her husband relocated their family to Mukilteo near the Puget Sound in Western Washington in 2000 where she has continued to serve her community in the field of fire and EMS.

Over the years Paula recognized the need for quality professional educators in the community. After having responded to many emergencies where appropriate CPR and First-Aid may have made the difference, she began teaching in the community as well as the emergency medical field.

Born of the passion to educate bystanders and first responders that may be faced with an emergecy; Second Wind was created.
